Hydrogel-Crosslinked Microneedles Based on Microwave-Assisted Drying Method

We present a method and several applications for the synthesis of hydrogel-crosslinked microneedle arrays utilizing microwave-assisted drying, ensuring significant reduction in reaction preparation time while maintaining quality. demonstrate feasibility drying hydrogels using microwaves thus extend to crosslinked fabrication. Crosslinking was performed 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE) as crosslinking agent. Infrared spectra were measured with attenuated total reflection-Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR). The surface morphology observed scanning electron microscopy (SEM). evaluated terms mechanical strength, swelling kinetics, rheological properties, degradation rate, glucose iontophoresis. results show that this can shorten by 5 hours, prepared array has better efficiency, effect, greater strength than traditional methods.
